WOLVERINE Trailer Online!
You all know my opinion of Hugh Jackman (meow!), but that aside, I really don’t see a whole lot to love about this trailer. It’s filled with so many cliched moments, from the slo-mo badass walk away from the exploding whatever that thing is behind Wolverine, to the shrieking choir soundtrack that sounds a little too much like the stuff from 300, to a couple of really awkward moments (Wolvie looking like he’s about to dunk on a helicopter at the end being one of them). I also spotted what I am positive to be a young Storm at the 1:52 mark, which raises continuity questions galore. If this is indeed a prequel, why doesn’t Storm recognize Logan when he arrives at the mansion in X-Men, or vice versa? If he meets toddler Storm after the memory wipe, he would still have knowledge of her by the time X-Men rolled around, not to mention the fact that young African-American women with white hair are few and far in between. If it is indeed toddler Storm, this would put Wolverine about thirty years before X-Men. I don’t know about you, but I would put two and two together and say, “Hey, I met you a while ago. You got tall, bub!” Then again, if this is before the memory wipe, or if he never even crosses her path in the film and we see her in a side scene, these questions will be put away. But why put such a major character in a side scene in another major character’s movie? That seems so unnecessary to me. Another thing I’m wondering about is Sabretooth. If Sabretooth is in the prequel, why doesn’t Wolverine know him in X-Men when they are fighting through the entire film? If this trailer is any indication, Wolvie is familiar with Sabretooth following the adamantium procedure that allegedly wiped his previous memories out, since I see plenty of shots involving Wolvie attacking him with adamantium on his claws, so why…what…HUH? You guys watch it and help me out, please.

Maybe Storm just didn’t remember. , I sure can’t recall the faces of random family members I’ve met when I was 6 or 7. So, It’s not that hard a thing to get around.
As for the Sabretooth, either there was some other memory wipe. Or he again just doesn’t recognize the more feral version of the character. Or since the character in X-Men is never called by name, maybe they are pretending it’s a different character.
Plus we don’t really know how the memory wipe is going to be handled in the movie anyway.
I’m just going based off of the explanation given in X-Men, where Jean says that Wolvie told her that he cannot remember anything about his life before the adamantium procedure. So, he remembers everything past that point, if this statement is to be believed. If they handle the memory wipe differently, it’s going to create a continuity clash.
what about gambit and deadpool??
and sabertooth looks sick!!!
who cares if he remembers storm lolol
my only concern is that they wont have enough deadpool in it…
:::raising hand:::
i have a question
so i noticed that after watchign it 56 times wolverine had claws when he was little…was he born with those? did the striker guy just give him healing powers? i thought he gave him the claws the healing and the metal bones…well in the video kid wolverine stabs someone with a black jacket and they show him with claws
Well, he says that’s the only thing he remembers. He could have just gone berzerker after the process, and lost his memories at a later time in some fashion.
Through an acquaintance, I have X-Man for the first time, I was equally thrilled, I am also excited by this report.
Logan was born with the mutant healing ability, and had bone claws. All Stryker did was bond adamantium to his skeleton, which included his claws. Logan didn’t remember, though, because of losing his memory. In fact, he didn’t find out (in the comics anyway) until Magneto removed the adamantium from him!
As for Victor Creed/Sabertooth – I read somewhere (can’t remember where unfortunately) that it’s a different character to the character played by Tyler Mane in X-Men. If that’s true or not, I don’t know.
EmpireOnline has a breakdown of the trailer, and they mention that Schrieber is never called Sabretooth in the movie, only Victor Creed. So I’m guessing they are pleying it like different people.
The same outline puts its oar in and states that the little white haired black girl Kristina was referred to IS Storm!

When Wolverine frees Emma Frost you see Quicksilver in the cage, next to his cage is baby Storm making little tornadoes….there was a scene right after that were she turns to face the camera almost, which was on the trailer but it was deleted from the movie
The scene were shes in the cage was in the movie though
