Who Wanted A WANTED Sequel?!

howaboutnohowaboutno2Wanted was an okay waste of time, but still a waste of time nonetheless.  The action was intentionally over-the-top, but this technique backfired with me, to the point that I clocked out of the movie about twenty minutes in and never came back.  I didn’t care about any of the people onscreen, and Jolie looked so sickly thin that I wanted to throw my popcorn through the screen for her to eat.  This crap worked in The Matrix because we were clearly in a world that was not our own.  You throw a bunch of curving bullets, flipping cars, and magic looms into my reality, and I laugh in your face and check my watch.  Now comes news that we are being treated to Wanted 2.  Oh joy.  Even better (and dumber) news?  Guess who’s coming back?  Angelina Jolie!  Uh.  Wait.  Hang on a sec.  I don’t know if you saw the same movie I did but…how are they going to explain her presence in the sequel?  Of all the laughable things sure to be in Wanted 2, that shoots (hehe) right to the top of the list.  Are they that desperate to secure a bankable star for this film (since God knows McAvoy can’t open crap on his own) that they are going to take a dump all over the finale of the first film in the process?

The movie was absolutely NOTHING like the comic book.

If this can come even remotely close to the comic book, which is very adult and has a shitload of action, ill be glad.

And, were the **** did they get curving bullets from?
And how will Julie come back? Since when is Wanted about fantasy Matrix bullshit? Theres no coming back from the dead or superpowers, wanted is a ****ing assassin’s story

The reason it wasn’t like the comic was because it was written when only one issue had been released.

As for the sequel, I’ll watch it, I liked the first one enough.

For a start, Jolie and Morgan Freeman being in the sequel has already been explained by the people making it (can’t remember where I read it though!). They are going to be present in flashbacks, which when you think about it makes sense.

As for the movie and the comics not being the same – as Grundy said they wrote it when only one issue had been released!

And ok, so they don’t bend bullets in the comics but Wesley still has superhuman accuracy and inherits his fathers mastery of weapons. Because that’s believable, right?

And Grundy – you won’t be alone mate! I enjoyed the first one for the sheer popcorn audacity of it and will quite happily watch a sequel.

I thought I was the only one who didn’t like Wanted (looks like I’m not alone). Too over the top, but wit the dough it made opening weekend, and overall, it really doesn’t shock me. Oh btw…”What the f**k have you done lately?” did we really need that line? I mean really?

Yeah the first one was cool
    Aaron
That line RULED! That was the best line ever lmao
The movie was good and that line was like the icing on the cake dude
He blasts Morgan Freemans face and then looks at the camera and says that epic line, that was ****ing beautiful lol
It doesnt get better then that,i had to clap when i heard that

It was a pretty awesome movie, but when i first saw it i had trouble enjoying it cuz it was nothing like i expected it…i was in a “wtf?” hypnotized state of shock because the whole flying/bullet control got me by surprise. I saw it 3 times though so I enjoyed it.

The best part was when he smashes the keyboard on the guys face IMO…that part was majestic

The best part was when that dude flew out of the window in the beginning, the CGI on that was awesome, but other than that, meh

Thats the part I hated. That and the curving bullets…it seemed too unreal…but then it got to my head “Hey- this isnt a realistic movie” and i accepted this fact, THEN i saw it again and enjoyed it
I came into the theater anticipating a realistic, violent, gritty assassins movie
It was really good but not what i thought a Wanted movie would be

Btw, my brother in law tried putting peanut butter on a rat trap and it didnt work, they go for Beef Jerkys more

Well, my freshman year in college, my dorm was infested with mice. I used peanut butter and caught four mice in my room in the span of three days. Needless to say, I moved out of that dorm

Im big on animal cruelty and Im scared shitless of roaches, that’s why I have cats, so they do the dirty work for me and i don’t have to chase roaches.

I could never set a rat trap myself, i like rats. Roaches are abominable.

Ti-Lung killed like 3 lizards already so hes my record holder
Simba and Mrs Bonzi are tied in 2nd place with 1 insect killed

    You’re kidding.

Wanted rates in the all time top 10 of any type of movie, time it was shot and for its full time action, no boring azzed zzzzzzzzzzz time in it and more twists and turns than a crooked bankers log books.

The wait for Wanted 2 will be TOO LONG and count on more of them.

Wake up….that was one hellovamovie and I cant watch it weekly without boredom. That’s something I CANNOT say about most the “new” ones coming out.
