THE SPIRIT Outdoor Posters

Superherohype have had the pleasure of debuting to the world the outdoor posters for the Frank Miller directed screen version of Will Eisner’s The Spirit. And they do look pretty cool. The three posters go together to make one image, and I think it is pretty effective. The only thing I am concerned about with this project is that, as Miller is filming it in greenscreen like his own Sin City was filmed by Robert Rodriguez, it is going to end up being Frank Miller’s The Spirit. But then, as Miller is such a visual artist maybe that’s not a bad thing. I am also not totally sold on his skills as a director, as I was never one hundred percent certain exactly how much he really contributed to the screen version of Sin City (if it’s revealed on the Sin City DVD commentaries then someone let me know – I still haven’t gotten around to listening to them yet!) but at the very least, it’s sure going to look stylish!

Click here to see all three posters in the series.

And if you notice the url on the bottom of all the posters is MyCityScreams.com, which is the movies “official website” and where you can download a natty little widget which, as you can see below, seems to be counting down to the first trailer – only three days to go then!
