The Oscars 2010: My Predictions

It’s very nearly time for the Academy Awards to be handed out to the lucky winners of the Oscars 2010. The ceremony takes place on Sunday March 7th 5PM PT/8PM ET (or 1am on the 8th if you live in the UK) so I thought I’d try and have a little go at predicting where the Oscars are going to land, so follow the jump to see my guesses.

My Prediction: Inglorious Basterds

So there you go, that’s how I think it’s going to play out. I really think that The Hurt Locker is going to sweep the boards, pretty much, so think that’s going to be the film of the year as far as the Oscars are concerned. As for the rest, some are guesses (as I haven’t seen all the nominations) and others are just personal choices.

    I gotta disagree, In the Loop deserves the Writing (Adapted Screenplay) over Up in the Air.

    Capaldi also deserved a nomination.
