THE MIST Finally Gets Its UK Release!
While watching TV tonight i was quite suprised to suddenly find myself watching a trailer for the Thomas Jane starring, Frank Darabont directed The Mist, which is based upon the Stephen King novel of the same name. Why am I suprised? Mainly because we have only been waiting 8 months for it to be released here in the UK cinemas. But that wait is nearly over as on the 4th of July (Yes, just next week) we finally get to see The Mist for ourselves in the cinema.
A week doesn’t seem to be very long to start the advertising for the movie though, not when it’s up against other releases like Hancock and the already released The Incredible Hulk & Indy 4. Still, it’s nice that UK audiences finally get the chance to watch this superb looking movie for themselves.
Assuming that everyone who wanted to see the movie hasn’t just gotten annoyed with the wait and imported the DVD that was released on the 25th of March. Yes, that’s right USA readers - you had The Mist on DVD for 3 months before it even hit the UK cinemas!
