Tim Robbins is an actor I always find worth checking out. Rachel McAdams is both gorgeous and insanely talented, and seems to have her head screwed on when it comes to her mapping out her career (any excuse to publish a picture of her!!). Neil Burger directed the very much under-rated Edward Norton magician movie, The Illusionist. That’s enough criteria right there for me to be coloured ‘interested’ in checking out their new movie, The Lucky Ones.

In the film McAdams, Robbins and Michael Pena star as three soldiers who are sent home from Iraq after suffering injury. The trio end up on a road trip after their flight is cancelled, getting to know each other a little better and realise that the America they’re return to is not the one they left. The trailer - which bounces from thoroughly engaging to a little to saccharine - can be found here.

Do you reckon this is just “another” film to get massive acclaim on some festival circuit before turning up as a “Blockbuster Exclusive” here in the UK? Or do you think this has big break-out potential to become “the little movie that could”. What’s your thoughts?
