That 2012 Teaser!

I just don’t know, I really don’t… I dug the living crap out of Universal Soldier, I kinda enjoyed Stargate - although I have friends that adore it. I think Independence Day is a whole heap of fun and Godzilla? Well, it was a bit naff wasn’t it? Although I try, where possible, to find merit in it (”Erm… the cast is… good?”). The Patriot should never have been as long as it was, but if you ever feel like cutting it considerably you’ve got yourself a cracking, gritty historical revenge flick right there! And, I happen to have a great deal of affection for The Day After Tomorrow too! Thanks to a friend of a friend I even got to have an exclusive, very quick sneaky look at what you’re planning for your Fantastic Voyage remake… and it looks, well, fantastic!
But 10,000 BC? That undone everything for me, man. Read my review of it right here! That was a movie from back in the day when I used to pay for all my cinema experiences. And until you give me back my £6.75, I don’t think I’m prepared to go easy on you. Yeah, 2012, your next movie might have a friggin’ awesome cast (John Cusack, Danny Glover, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt and much more) and a great looking ultimate-disaster movie concept but, I dunno dude, you’ve been teetering on the edge between guilty-pleasure and utter-shite for so long now and I think 10,000 BC tipped you over!
Prove me wrong! PLEASE! Your teaser is a good start, I will admit! It kind of tells us nothing but does make us kind of think “Oooh, this could be good dispensible blockbustery fun!” like your best teasers have done! Build on it! You’re coming out against some spectacularly anticipated movies next year so bring your A game!
