**UPDATE** STAR TREK Teaser Trailer Online! Officially!
Yeah, so chances are that you’ve already seen this, either on the web in crappy vision or in front of Cloverfield, but for the one or two of you who haven’t I thought you might be interested in seeing the teaser for Star Trek in HD!

Those of you who live in the USA will get to see this on the big screen later if you’re heading out to see Cloverfield tonight, but the rest of us will just have to make do with this rather lo-res offering of the Star Trek teaser that will be showing in front of Cloverfield! Yep, that’s right, the teaser is online and you can check it out over at the IESB. Go on, you know you want to.
Strangely enough, it’s pretty much exactly what I thought it would be – some glimpses of the Enterprise under construction in spacedock while lit by spotlights. But it does look quite good, I suppose, and then that voice over kicks in and that music comes up…….yeah, ok as a teaser it does it’s job and now I’m looking forward to getting a “proper” trailer soon.
Curse you JJ Abrams! I’ve been trying to stay not really that interested in this! Grrrrr. >:|

And… Brad Renfro’s dead too! Thoughts to his friends and family etc. etc. but – you know what? **** him! He got a shot that thousands upon thousands of young lads his age dream of, and he spat it back in our faces with drug addiction and crime.
Now it’s claimed him! So there’s your moral!
And if we can just do something about Haley Joel Osmant now!

I’m not into Star Trek at ALL.
I was kinda interested in seeing the teaser, but my showing of Cloverfield decided to have the Untraceable trailer.
Though seeing the Hellboy II teaser on the big screen was pretty great.
Dammit, the weather is acting up around my way. It’s supposed to snow tomorrow and Sunday, so I might have to wait until Monday to see Cloverfield.
I liked it lots. A very good monster movie, you get plenty of destruction and good shots of the monster.
Good shots? Is that true Grund? Coz I’ve been getting wound up by reports that there’s little more than 3 minutes or so of abstract shots of the monster in the whole movie and it’s a bit of a prick tease of film over all.
But you word tends not to burn me too often when it comes to flicks, so if you say the opposite I’ll take your word for it!
It’ starts off with abstract shots, a tail here a leg there, it builds up to the reveal. You get to see it in all it’s glory.
