Simon Pegg Gives Empire A Career Update…
Simon Pegg confirmed to EmpireOnline that, having teased about a director-related announcement recently, he can exclusively reveal who will be holding the reigns on his and Nick Frost’s upcoming movie project, Paul, about comic book geeks travelling across America… starting from the San Diego Comic Con.
That director will be Greg Motolla, he who gave us Super Bad and the occasional episode of the really rather good Undeclared.
Pegg has also mentioned that the rumours suggesting he is part of Quentin Tarantino’s next movie, Inglorious Bastards, are now incorrect. He was set to play a British officer, but scheduling difficulties mean that he has had to withdraw. Stand by for our very own update on Tarantino’s upcoming war flick, and all casting related matters!
