The trailer for Disney’s Dwayne Johnson led Race To Witch Mountain ‘reimagining’ is online now. A lot of the links I’ve been sent are ridiculously slow or don’t work at all, so head on over to YouTube and check it out there.
I’ve got to say this looks like the exact type of likeable, dispensable fare I normally seek out on a Sunday afternoon if I have a slow, bored weekend. It looks as if it is well-shot, ‘The Rock’ seems to be having fun and Carla Gugino is in it too… so I’m willing to take a chance on this.

I want to do unholy things to him, but damn his career is going NOWHERE. He’s got a movie coming out where he’s a mean hockey player who is magically turned into the TOOTH FAIRY. I wish I was making this up.
The slo-mo exploding car bit from the trailer is a direct rip from The Covenant, which probably ripped it from somewhere else.
PLEASE…. do not speak of The Covenant!
