Paramounts Anti Piracy Action For INDY 4
I couldn’t believe this when I first read it but it has been reported on so many different sites now that it must actually be happening! Paramount, in an attempt to stop people pirating Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull from theatres have intentionally silenced portions of the soundtrack to deter the pirates!
Yeah, ‘cos those people who are going to record the movies on cameras are really going to care if part of the soundtrack dips out! Unlike the paying patrons of the cinemas who have paid good money to see a movie only to miss out on certain bits! Apparently the audio drops last less than a minute but even so this seems like a pretty crude and fairly pointless attempt to stop pirates, doesn’t it? So has this happened to you? If so I’d love to know exactly what Paramount are silencing – is it the music or is it dialogue?

Wait a second, what the hell am I saying…
This guy down the pub who I don’t really know says HE has a pristine DVD quality pirate version has NO audio dropouts in it at all! But I’ve had to take his word for it coz I don’t believe in piracy.

sorry, I mean
Not working. There’s plenty of good quality boots floating around online.
I don’t watch bootlegs, if I don’t care for a movie, just that I don’t care see it, or anything about it. The movies I do tend to see, I usually end up liking, so there’s point for me watch bootlegs.
Taking the moral high ground bitches.
Christ, how drunk must Grundy be? He misspelt his own name and wrote nigh on gobbledegook. :s
Quite drunk.
Lovely stuff Grund!!!
Drunk talkbacking!
LOL!
Sad thing is, even drunk you make more of a valid point then me sober!
Loss of points on misspelling your own name though!
