NINJA ASSASSIN UK Trailer Online
I’ve just been sent links to the UK trailer for forthcoming martial arts action epic Ninja Assassin and I have to say, it looks totally bat-shit crazy. In a good way!
Ninja Assassin tells the tale of Raizo (played by Korean pop star Rain, who last starred in Speed Racer), who was taken from the streets as a young boy and trained by the secretive Ozunu Clan, who’s very existence is thought to be a myth, to be an assassin.
But haunted by the brutal killing of his friend at the hands of the clan Raizo escapes and goes into hiding, waiting until the time is right to seek his revenge.
Meanwhile, in Berlin, Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) stumbles upon a money trail linking several political murders to an underground network of assassins from the Far East. Defying the orders of her superior, Mika continues to investigate further the truth behind these murders, which results in making her a target.
The Ozuna clan sends a team to silence her, led by the lethal Takeshi (Rick Yune), but they are stopped by Raizo – who knows that the clan will not rest now until they are both dead. Now, Mika and Raizo must bring down the clan before they are killed.
And if that doesn’t sound good to you, just check out the trailer. It’s full of over the top, mad as a box of frogs action and looks like it will be an absolute blast.
