Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a HUGE Tim Burton/Johnny Depp fan. I am counting the days until I can sink my teeth into Sweeney Todd, but I do find it odd that the marketing department insists on hiding the fact that this film is….gasp! A musical! I don’t know if they are hiding it because they think that people don’t go to see musicals anymore(and truthfully, apart from a few exceptions, they don’t), or if they are hiding it because the singing downright sucks. We barely heard any music in the initial teaser, and this one ain’t giving up the goods either, but we do get a healthy spray of blood, so I suppose that evens it out. Take a peek for yourself:
