News broke yesterday that John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s teenage son Jett has tragically died. Reports state that the 16 year old passed away in the Bahamas on Friday after suffering a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. He died at the scene. Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest of Travolta’s two children.
No parents should ever have to bury their child but, more and more these days, this is becoming too regular an occurence for whatever reason – be it war, street crime or just tragic health related occurences like this one.
I hope you join me in sparing a thought for John Travolta and his family at this horrifically difficult time.
