Stale Popcorn

Despite rumours to contrary, The IESB has learnt that Justice League Of America has a cast locked in place (and sworn to secrecy) and a script ready to film, despite the writers strike. Oh, and we should learn sometime this week who has gotten the roles of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman etc.

I am looking forward to the announcement, as it will be interesting to see who has been cast. My money at the moment is on young soap opera actors. Part of me still holds out hope that Brandon Routh will get to play Superman (yeah, I know, fat chance but hey – I liked him as Superman in Superman Returns!) but no matter who the cast is I’m not holding out much hope for this being a decent movie. And the fact that they’re not going to be able to do any script rewrites until the strike ends is a little worrying. But one way or another, we should know soon who the latest DC heroes are to hit the big screen this week. Keep your eyes peeled. As soon as the news hits I’ll let you know.
