INDIANA JONES AND THE…….WTF?!?
During the MTV awards Shia LaBeouf came on stage and started talking about Indiana Jones IV and stated that he had been sworn to secrecy by Steven Spielburg as to sharing the title of the new movie.
And then, as he was in Vegas and 21 now he decided to tell all anyway! The blabbermouth!
So what have they decided to call the eagerly awaited Indy IV? You ready?
Sure now???
OK- so the title of the fourth entry is:
Drumroll please…………………………………
Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull
Well, that just rolls off the tongue, don’t it!
Seriously, I don’t particularly like the new title, and it doesn’t really fit in with the other three titles in my mind at the moment – but maybe it will grow on me.
To be perfectly honest they could have called it Indiana Jones And The Broken Tea Cup and I would still be excited about it.
But was this actually a “slip” by LaBeouf? Is he going to get in trouble for releasing the title early?
Considering Aintitcoolnews have gotten their hands on the official logo – I kinda doubt it!

Doesn’t that look nice? Can’t you just imagine that on a big screen in a theatre? I can hear the music now……..

One Response to “INDIANA JONES AND THE…….WTF?!?”
Dude, glad we finally got round to paying mention to this. I’ve got to say I’m not that pleased with the title but as you’re aware from mentions made in my Die Hard 4.0 review and across the talkbacks at our old stomping ground, I’m kind of against this movie anyway.
I think messing with perfection is just silly and smacks of desperation for all involved(Ford needs a hit like a crack junkie! Lucas needs to exorcise the demons of those Star Wars prequels! Spielberg is acknowledging that, Jaws and Munich aside, the only films he’s made where he’s never fudged the ending have been these Indy movies!).
I said that I would remain distant and sceptical until they hand me something that blew me out of the water completely… casting Karen Allen and Ray Winstone came very close, announcing the possibility of a spin-off trilogy with Shia LaBeouf’s character nearly undid that and now this title.
It just sounds… naff! It sounds like any one of the numerous fan scripts they lawyered up against in the mid to late 90s!
They should have gone with my suggested title:
INDIANA JONES AND THE YES IT’S NOT GOING TO AS GOOD AS THE OTHERS BUT WE NEED THE MONEY SO **** YOU!
