That’s truly tragic. A sad day, especially for his family. I’m sure everyone’s thoughts and best wishes go to them
Renfro you could see coming. But Ledger was just out of left field.
They are speculating on CNN that the role of the Joker could have pushed him over the edge. At first, I called BS until they interviewed a reporter who’d apparently spoken to him not too long ago. Heath apparently told this guy that he was so deeply disturbed by the role of the Joker that he could not sleep anymore. He was taking AmBien to try and sleep. It sounds farfetched, but you never know.
I say that’s bullshit, if anything he was suffering from some really bad insomnia and accidentally took too much.
He did say those things about playing the Joker, but offing yourself because of a role, come on.
Yeah, more info is slowly trickling in that steers this toward an accidental death, not a suicide. TMZ is reporting that he had pneumonia at the time of his death, the NYPD is calling it an accidental death, and his family is ADAMANTLY stating that he did not kill himself.
Either way, he’s still dead, and a little girl has to grow up without her daddy.
