HARRY POTTER & THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE Trailer Online

Considering the movie is released in November they seem to have been being a little quiet about the sixth entry in the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, as up until now all we have seen is a teaser which gave us….well, gave us the logo! But now we have a full trailer which mainly concentrates on Tom Riddle, or Voldemort if you prefer, and Dumbledore. If you live in the States then you can check it out over at Moviefone. If you don’t live in the States, like me, then head over to Screenrant where Vic has got an embedded flash version. Nice work fella!

Anyway, I have to say that it does look interesting and I’m sure I will check it out when it’s released but do you know what the main thing I’m wondering is? Just how much will be cut out of this one! I mean, Half-Blood Prince is a BIG book…..

Any of you Potter fans out there – anything you’d be happy about losing from the book?

I didn’t want to report anything to take away the attention of Kristina’s article being front and centre on the main page, so well done Wyv for taking the ‘hit’ so to speak as I didn’t know how long we should wait that could be considered ‘respectable’.

Remember X-MEN: THE LAST STAND when Xavier goes to meet a young Jean Grey etc. etc. etc. and then some etc. etc? That is ALL I thought of when I watched this teaser.

Does ANYBODY else just see these movies as being less of an ‘event’ and more just limping away to their conclusion? Or is it just me? Just me? Thought so.

I pay the bills so I suppose it’s only right I take the “hit”. ;)

And as for the Potter franchise – after finishing the books and watching the last movie (which didn’t impress me that much) I’ve really lost a lot of interest in the franchise but I’ll watch them to the end. Apart from anything else, I’ll be interested to see if they can actually make the last movie entertaining as for a lot of it while I was reading it I was bored out of my mind.

Guys, it’s perfectly fine to post other stuff. Don’t be ridonkulus. I just felt like telling someone what was going on.

As far as this trailer goes, I’m honestly not floored by it, but I’m still going to see this simply to see the IMAX 3D effects.

EVERYTHING that is wrong about the sheer lack of originality in each of these Potter movies can be uncovered in my review for Goblet of Fire, which can be found in the archive (Wyv – come to my rescue mate and attach a link to the very review within this talkback?).

EVERY friggin’ Potter movie is the same man!
