GIVE ‘EM HELL, MALONE Teaser Trailer Online

Grundy sent me the link on this one, and I have to be honest and say that I hadn’t even heard of it before! The movie in question is the brilliantly titled Give ‘Em Hell, Malone, which is about a tough private detective called Malone who squares off with a load of gangsters to protect a secret. The gangsters put him through hell to get the secret but Malone dishes out his own kind of hell in return.

And Malone is played by Thomas Jane who looks great in this rough teaser as the titular Private Dick. The movie is directed by Highlander director Russell Mulcahy and, in Grundy’s words “Looks like Mulcahy is redeeming himself for The Scorpion King 2″. Indeed it does!

Check out the teaser here. This has quickly moved from my “Never Heard Of” list to my “Damn, I Wanna See That!” list!

Give ‘Em Hell, Malone also stars Devon Aoki & Ving Rhames and is scheduled for release on April 1st 2009.

It does look pretty ****ing awesome. It’s also got Doug Huchison in it, and it’s always great to see him get work.

The only thing I wasn’t feeling about it was the text, but this is more of a sizzle reel so the final version should look a lot better.

I have to admit that this looks all shades of aces! And anyone who had read my review of THE SCORPION KING 2 knows that that takes a lot for me to say that.

But, seriously people, stop putting “from the director of Resident Evil: Extinction” on your promotional material.

That is NOT something to be proud of!

Maybe for the official final trailer they’ll swap out RE with The Shadow.

    Yuk!

    RAZORBACK and HIGHLANDER!

That’s all they should, and can legitmately mention.

Well… they could throw RICOCHET in too ;)

**** you, what’s wrong with The Shadow?

GIVE EM HELL MALONE DOES NOT STAR DEVOn AOKI.

Erm, I could swear that she pops up in this here trailer but, well, if Wyv is wrong then I’m sure he is deeply apologetic… still no need to shout about it ;)

PS Grundy, sorry for the delay in getting back to you… THE SHADOW sucks balls

IMDb does list Aoki in the cast list, but we all know how reliable IMDb is. I’m pretty sure the person you’re thinking of in the sizzle reel is Chris Yen.

I don’t particularly like her that enormously anyway, so whether she is or not, I’m going to be checking this out!

As Gazz and Grundy pointed out, Corey, according to the IMDB Aoki is in Give ‘Em Hell, Malone. If she isn’t, my mistake, but is there any need to shout about it? ;)

Eh, um, I really wasn’t trying to shout. But yeah, you’re right. We all know how reliable IMDB is. I’m stoked about this one!

This was just a teaser, cut together with only TWO WEEKS of footage (That’s why there’s no Ving Rhames). Editor rushed it to show at AFM.
    It’s gonna be badass.

    Bill Haverchuck?!?

    FREAKS & GEEKS reference!

    I LOVE YOU MAN!!!
