First Picture Of The Enterprise Online!
Just in time for the debut of the trailer for Star Trek before Cloverfield tomorrow (well, if you live in the States anyway) the first picture of the new….uh…old….uh…..original….no hang on. Which freakin’ number ship is this?
Aw forget it. The first image from JJ Abrams reboot of Star Trek has appeared online. Now, I don’t know where first got it, so I’ll attribute it to the first site I saw it at – which was AICN. Enough of my chatter, you want to see the picture don’t you? Well, click on the image below to see it big, like!
So what do you think? It’s a little hard to tell, but I think it looks quite like the Enterprise from the original TV show, which is good, but overall I’m a little underwhelmed to be honest. But damn, those turbine fans on the nacelles are big, aint they? Jeez.
Now I’ve just been thinking about this trailer that’s meant to be showing in front of Cloverfield…..they wouldn’t just do a 60 second flyby of the Enterprise in spacedock while spotlights pick out various details would they? Would they? Nah, shouldn’t have thought so. Anyhoo, only a couple of hours and I’m pretty sure the trailer will appear online in some shape or form.

I’m going to try and catch Cloverfield tomorrow to post a review. A friend got into an advance screening and said it was pretty good, but he’s also a JJ Abrams disciple, so he isn’t fully impartial.
