Stale Popcorn

Nope, that’s no spelling error on my part in the title.  Apparently, that’s the spelling that QT is going for, maybe to keep the MPAA from forcing him to change the title or something like that.  Anyways, EW has scored the very first pic from the set of Inglorious Basterds, featuring Brad Pitt in full costume and posing like an Abercrombie and Fitch model.  Nothing that rocks my socks, but I thought you all would like a looksie.  You can also head here to check the full cast list for this baby, including the likes of Eli Roth, Julie Dreyfus (Sofie Fatale from Kill Bill Volume 1), and Mike Myers (ugh).

Pitt’s character is a fellow by the name of Aldo Raine, who if the EW article is accurate, will be getting his hands pretty dirty in this flick.  Tarantino certainly has his detractors, but I’m not one of them.  Can’t wait to see this, although I am bummed that Simon Pegg had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.  Curse you, JJ Abrams, for going over schedule on Star Trek!  Curse you, curse you, curse you!
