With the release date of June 13th rapidly approaching, Universal Pictures and Marvel Studios have finally started really getting the ball rolling with the marketing for The Incredible Hulk, the reboot/restart of the green giant, what with the trailer and the behind the scenes “First Look” that have been released recently. And now IGN have debuted the new poster for the movie, and it does have a certain “something”. Check it out by clicking on the picture below:

Now, I quite like this. It’s nice to see them referencing the whole “Lonely Man” ethos that Hulk has always had and Norton is very evocative of the old Bill Bixby take on Bruce Banner in this shot.
I still don’t like the way Marvel and Universal are slagging off Ang Lee’s take on the character but I still think that this could well be a fun movie.

If you go to the website, they have the sad walking away music from the TV show in orchestral form up.
That’s pretty cool! I read an interview with one of the Marvel bods within the pages of FILM REVIEW the other day whilst scanning it at my corner shop. He said something like “It’s a total reinvention. It’s not a sequel. Although we keep some things established from Ang’s movie!”
So that would be “not a total reinvention” then?
