DOOMSDAY Trailer Is Online!
I really like Neil Marshall movies. Dog Soldiers was a great movie. The Descent, while it did have it’s problems, was still a fine horror movie and was very well made. And it’s been with great anticipation that I have awaited the release of his next movie, called Doomsday. And the trailer has finally arrived! You can check it out over at Yahoo! movies and I have to say, it does look very good indeed! I haven’t actually “listened” to it just yet (as I am still at work) but the visuals do look very, very good.
Doomsday tells the story of a plague that hits the UK, and in an effort to control the epidemic the Government force all the sufferers into Scotland and the borders are sealed (kinda like Escape From New York without the earthquake). A couple of years later London has returned to normal when another outbreak occurs. Of course, the general public panics but the Government know that there are survivors living in Scotland and so there must be a cure so they send a covert group of soldiers in to retrieve it.
It sounds good. It looks good. Let’s just hope it is good!
Doomsday is released on March 14th and stars Rhona Mitra, Malcolm McDowell, Bob Hoskins and Sean Pertwee.
