In more news today involving a guy in my fantasy file, Johnny Depp has been lined up to star in a flick based on a novel titled In The Hand Of Dante. I have to say, from reading the description of this novel and a positive book review, the only thing that the film will have going for it is Johnny. Johnny will be playing a guy named Tosches, who is called in to investigate whether a manuscript is really the original manuscript of The Divine Comedy, Dante’s magnus opus. Yeah, really interesting plot there, huh? I could be mistaken, wouldn’t be the first time, but this thing sounds like a snoozer to me.
