DANCE FLICK Trailer Online Now!

I was asked to publish this by the marketing firm that seem to use me as their own personal “bitch” so, here goes…

Have we REALLY reached the point now where the subgenre that is the ‘teen dance’ movie is deserved of being “spoofed”? Seriously? This is clearly the sign of the motherfuckin apocalypse if you ask me! And you know what’s worse? We’re not even getting our intelligence insulted by the “cream” of diabolical shite like this, i.e. the people behind the likes of Epic Movie (*shudder*), Meet The Spartans (*double shudder*) and… well you get my point.

No, Dance Flick (how long did they spend thinking up THAT title?) is coming to us by The Wayans Brothers… but not even, the shite Wayans Brothers we’ve become accustomed to defending ourselves against. This one is coming from some turd calling himself Damian Dante Wayans.

I found myself sort of laughing a couple of times throughout this trailer… in disbelief. When you’re second guessing the gags they’ll hit you with, and proving yourself correct, before the bloody trailer has even uploaded then you know that this movie has ‘problems’.

*sigh* They spent millions on this AND it gets a cinema release, and Insatiable stands on the outskirts here in the UK? Well, that says a lot. Check the trailer for Dance Flick out here.

this has been my plan:

how about, every single movie website completely ignores spoof movies? they have no acting, theyre HORRIBLE, and theyre making more money then some legit movies. i say we act like they dont exist. when i saw the meet the spartans trailer in the movies i remember being so emberrased at humankind after it was over, it was sooo bad.
so i say we (EVERYONE) act like they dont exist and we spread the word that NO ONE should watch these movies.

which is why i wont be putting meet the sopartans on my list for “worst movie of the year” because thats cheap…i want to pick a REAL movie, not a spoof, those dont count, theyre ALWAYS bad. also i wont put the guys that wrote it/directed it on the worst director/writer either because thats CHEAP. theyre SUPPOSED to be horrible.

so the hazmat says….STOP THE MADNESS! we start ignoring these movies…..NOW!

I absolutely thoroughly agree with you Hazmat. Unfortunately I’m torn between the film fan in me with a certain degree of taste and intelligence, and the guy writing for a website who has kinda sold himself down the river to get free tickets, DVDs etc. to “pimp” on the site.

The downside of this is that when they have material they want promoted they send you links or what not, asking you to cover it and that I must, although there’s nothing to say I cannot be snotty in my reporting of it, Ha Ha!

And by the way, I very much admire your tenancity re your end of year list… this from the man who stuck EPIC MOVIE on his last year, so my will power isn’t as strong as yours, LOL!

Good shout though… and not a single mention of splashing your load on Ms Paltrow!

theres no way to take a decent accurate pick without avoiding them, there where 3 this year…spartans, superhero movie and the disaster one. and theyre making a shitload of money too…although the last one almost no one saw according to rotten tomatoes (THANK you people! NOW where waking up i see…)

noo epic movie was obviously the worse one…but…its a spoof…REALLY, meet the spartans would be the worse one, but out of the REAL movies that tried, 10,000 B.C. was the worst one (i laughed at it and wrote a review on it for the school paper…maybe harsh but very accurate) 88 minutes being a cloooose 2nd…oh and be kind rewind. wow. what a piece of shit THAT was….

i love you gwyneth paltrow! maybe one day if she needs someone to carry her bags around or organize her pantry i can be of any value to this world and help someone of a much higher level…hence The Paltrow…thus gaining a garanteed ticket to heaven when i die for serving a better human being…
