It looks utterly atrocious doesn’t it?

I think so. But then again, I’m going to try and not build up too much bile against the project because, first time round, I caught the trailer for Crank and thought it looked naff. Then I watched it on a DVD screener ahead of it’s release, on a portable DVD player whilst travelling back from London to Newcastle. I didn’t like it. At all. In fact, I thought it was a pile of shit! A friend told me that it was because of the circumstances of how/when I watched it and that if I caught it on the “big screen” with a crowd then I’d dig the hell out of it! So, I did and I didn’t! I still thought it was absolute piffle.

But then something kinda weird happened in that I was given it on DVD as a birthday gift and its sort of become this likeable little cult, guilty pleasure so, you know, go figure? Crank 2: High Voltage could go the same way.

… Or not!
