Christian Bale Arrested In London
Now, I don’t usually go in for reporting the arrests etc of stars, as there are plenty of other sites that seem to delight in doing that, but I just saw this on Reuters and thought it deserved a mention considering the high profile of The Dark Knight in the news at the moment - Christian Bale has apparently been arrested in London for assault!
Here’s an excerpt from the Reuters report:
Christian Bale, star of the latest Batman blockbuster, has been arrested in London on allegations of assault, media reported on Tuesday.
…..
….when asked if Bale had been arrested, a police spokesman said:
“A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody.”
….
The arrest follows an allegation of assault by his mother and sister, the tabloid Sun newspaper said.
Wow. Now, I’m sure there will be more to this than has been reported at the moment, especially with the mention of Bale’s mother and sister as reporting the alledged assault, and as soon as I hear anymore about it I’ll let you know.
Seems a shame, if this is true, that it comes at a time to marr what should be a happy and successful time for Bale and The Dark Knight.

But if this is true, seriously, shame on him. Nothing will get you on my shit list faster than hitting a woman. I really hope this isn’t true.

We don’t have “verbal assault” - the term is “causing harrassment, alarm or distress” and then you slip in the whole ‘verbal’ thing!

Anyway, I would update the main story but I’m on my PS3 and it’s not the easiest thing to edit posts in so I’ll update this here. Bale has now been released on bail (sorry) until September. So at least his busy schedule won’t be affected for a few months.
Gazz, I won’t lie, I wouldn’t be too sad about getting a little roughed up by Bale as Batman. He dresses up, he growls, he’s got a tool belt filled with wonderful toys…the way that he bodyslammed Joker in this movie…if that was a bed, I’d be good to go

Lois Lane has had Superman arrested for failing to keep up to date on his Child Support. To which Superman has told the press “Damnit, I’m telling you that kid aint mine. Do you see a ****ing hole in her back? Because if I’d shot my load in her there would be, believe me!”
Batman’s mum and sister have been blamed for the recent creation of “compensation culture” against the denziens of the superhero world!

Now they’re saying that Bale’s mom and Bale have been estanged for some time, and she’s jealous of his fame. She allegedly showed up to the hotel and was smack-talking about Bale’s wife, which made Bale go off.
If this is the case(and we’ll probably never know the case since Bale isn’t exactly forthcoming about his personal life in the first place), then…well, good on him for sticking up for his lady, but laying the smackdown on your mom ain’t cool, no matter how much of a gold-digging ho she may be.
It depends Kris - I mean when Britney Spears’ kids grow up and put their foot through her teeth, you won’t really find too much grumbling come from my general direction!
You assume her children will survive to adulthood. With her mothering skills, that ain’t guaranteed.
To be honest it’s always amazed me that she had kids in the first place - With her behaviour I always assumed her cooch must have been rotten to the core!
