I’m there opening day. I love Baz Lurhman, I love Nicky K, I love Jackman with no shirt on, I AM THERE OPENING DAY DOGGONE IT! Gotta say, I am getting a real Titanic vibe from this project. Rich girl, poor guy, class war, big historical event as a backdrop…as long as Hugh doesn’t freeze to death because SOMEBODY wouldn’t slide their ass over and share the piece of wood, I’ll be fine.

I totally agree with you on this. I’d been kinda looking down my nose at this but this trailer just totally blew me away. This has HUGE potential for me I think. I love a good sweeping epic every now and again.
And this trailer at least makes you want to see the movie. That can’t be said about the turgid mess that is the REVOLUTIONARY ROAD one which just screams “Look at us! Award our talent! GODDAMNIT, LOOK AT US!!!!”
