BATMAN 3 to start next year?
According to all the reports flooding the internets, at the SDCC panel for The Book Of Eli, Gary Oldman was asked a question regarding when Batman 3 was going to start filming.
He apparently responded that it was going to start filming next year, to be released in 2011, but everyone had to keep quiet about it!
No official word has been released, so no one knows if Chris Nolan is involved or not (lets hope he is) but it’s not really a shock that WB are prepping a third movie, especially after the success of The Dark Knight.
So, now the months of speculation can begin. Who’s the villain? Is Christopher Nolan going to be directing? Is Christian Bale still going to be Bruce Wayne? Will his Batman still talk through a mouthfull of gravel? Etc etc
I, for one, am hoping for one more movie from Nolan/Bale, to finish the trilogy off, so I welcome the news that the third movie is moving ahead. What’s your thoughts?

I hope Nolan dies, he said “I wont be having Robin in it”
What a shame, Robin is such an important character, yet this asshole wont understand that he plays an essential role in Bruce Waynes life. I hope some other director picks this up, Nolans a royal troll
The best part of ANY Batman comic book EVER written was when they shot Robins parents in front of him in the circus and the cops pick him up to kill him (the sniper had missed robin) and batman pwns the cops, picks up robin with one arm and yells at him “Youve been recruited, youre now at war! Welcome to my world!”
That part has always been ****ing badass…especially since Robin was like….nine years old
I hope Nolan returns and finishes his trilogy and THEN hands it down to another director, and I think Bale has already stated that he will return even if Nolan doesn’t.
He’ll return because he’s contracted to.
i hope they start as early as they can.
