ATTENTION!: CLONE WARS Might Suck!
So, yesterday I read a negative review for that awful-looking Star Wars Clone Wars animated trash over at that pantheon of trustworthy reviews, AICN. Now, this review would typically go in one eye and out the other (get it? Because you read reviews? With…your…eyes…), until I realized who wrote the review. Harry. Harry Knowles hated a Star Wars film. This man is a prequel apologist of the highest order, and he called this movie a piece of crap. Color me shocked. Now, I was even more shocked to learn that Lucasfilm had this and other Clone Wars reviews yanked from the site. Why? Oh, because there’s an embargo on the film’s reviews, preventing them from being released until…THE DAY OF RELEASE. That would be this Friday. Most embargoes are lifted a few days before a film’s release, but keeping reviews under lock and key until the day a movie is released reeks of Lucasfilm attempting to play Let’s Hide The Turd. I could understand if this was a big movie and they were trying to keep significant plot points secret, but there’s no point in trying to hide the plot because nothing of any significance happens in this movie. It’s between Eps II and III, so we know all the main characters will survive! Might as well not have anyone review it at all if there are no reviews to read until most folks have already thrown down their money to go and see it! Embargoes don’t bug me as long as they are fair, but this reeks of a dirty rotten trick, especially since other reviews are floating around online. I just felt like giving advance warning to you all.

Does this really deserve an ATTENTION!? I could give a **** less about anything Star Wars anymore.
So really who cares if Lucasfilm had some reviews taken down, because of the embargo. No point to get into a big huff about it.
Though one question does remain, is a computer animated Hayden Christensen less wooden then the real thing?
M’eh! Life is too short for this movie I’m telling you. I’m about as far done as anyone could be on this STAR WARS shite!
i guess George Lucas finally got to make (or a least approve of) a whole Star Wars movie after his love for CGI, looks fun though
I think George Lucas finally drove the franchise back into the grave after Episode III all but hung onto the sides for as long it could, after Episode I and II dove head first into it!
I’m suprised Lucas reacted the way he did — it really isn’t that bad of a feature…
It would appear you are very nearly alone in this opinion!
No, I don’t think so. I’ve seen a number of reviews that give Clone Wars a positive review. Maybe Harry was just bitter as he didn’t get the kick backs he’s used to from Lucas?
