Stale Popcorn

According to Yahoo! Music News Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson are holed up in Oxfordshire studio owned by Ronson, hard at work on the theme tune for the next Bond flick, Quantum of Solace.

Oh jeez. I have to be totally honest with you now, and say that I really hate this news. I cannot stand Amy Winehouse. She annoys the bejeesus out of me. And the sound of her voice really annoys me as well! So the news that she is going to be responsible for the theme tune to a movie that I really want to see? Great. Woo-flipping-hoo. Hell, to steal a line from one of Winehouse’s own songs “I say no, no, noooo”.

I so hope this is not true…

Still, on the flip side it does mean that I will get to see a Bond movie with a theme tune from someone like System Of A Down (via my iPod) and the knowledge that people/bands responsible for Bond theme tunes tend to vanish soon after so I shouldn’t have to put up with Winehouse for much longer!

Quantum of Solace, if you have forgotten, is the follow up to the fantastic Casino Royale and once again see’s Daniel Craig in the role of the super-spy and will be hitting cinema’s in November this year.
