A New Crappy Poster For The New Crappy SPIRIT Movie!
Dios mio, does this flick look terrible or what? I have to admit, when I first saw the standee for this in my local theater months ago, I thought that it was for Sin City 2! The buzz on this thing has been universally awful. Fans of the comic on which this film is based have been vocal in their displeasure over how this film looks, the trailers are horribly incoherent (I’ve watched them numerous times and still have no idea what in the world is going on. Hot chicks, Sam Jackson mugging it up, and some guy with a really red tie), and the clips from Comic-Con that were leaked online a few months ago were laughably bad. I’m talking a fight in a sewer in which the combatants use gigantic wrenches and toilet seats as they roll about in feces. I’m talking a scene in a hospital that tries to be noir-ish and comes across as cheesy. Whoever let Frank Miller direct this thing needs to have their head examined, because by all accounts, the man has mutilated this film beyond repair. For now, take a look at this new poster cortesy of Joblo, which is essentially all of the other posters thrown together. Laziness of the highest order here, people.

i mean…id love to say “the only reason they let this get made was because…” but i CANT. and im not even going to ask you guys because someones going to say “cash grab” or “the fans” at least one….and that doesnt answer my question because right off the bat…i know this will have NO MONEY and the fans (if any) hate it
i liked the first trailer…because it was a teaser trailer…and it just showed him on top of buildings with cats. i dont care about the style of grey anf black but when i saw the 2nd trailer…and i noticed it was one of those movies that had 89 sluts and they all carried guns and it had sam jackson saying stupid shit…it died for me
you guys- watch the bitch slap trailer. its just as stupid….tits and guns…only this is worse because of sam jackson
the first trailer…i liked. it showed no acting…juts him jumping on top of buildings and it ended. now if this movie had NO WOMEN…or some but they where all normal..and a sam jackson with no coat or tattoos or stupid ass lines “im the octopus, i have 8 of everything” it would be fine

im going as far as to say its steriotipical! not all guys watch pornos and are obsessed with guns (i DO liek guns…i signed up for the marines…and i DO happen to love gwyn paltrov but…i dont do porn..so thats half right)
but watching the bitch slap trailer was like a black guy watching a preview filled with chicken wings and watermellon and having it say “WATCH THIS” on the bottom. NO I REFUSE. not all dudes watch that shit and its demeaning AS HELL. yes! DEMEANING AND DEGRADING
i cant even stress this enough- okay in the star trek trailer i remember kristina complaining about the .5 second tit scene….its that- multiplied by 80. i dont know how to explain myself i hope im getting my point accross

i have to point something out before i forget
i noticed the “worst movie” thing and i wanted to say…can we NOT count spoof movies? because thats cheap. there where 3 spoof movies in 08 and i dont want to chose those i want to make a legit pick COUGHCOUGH10,000 B.C.cough! same thing with worst acting…i wish that we could IGNORE spoof movies….theyre like freebies on those categories and its not fair..and they take the fun away from it.
