A Few Words About The Trailer For THE TOOTH FAIRY
This is the most pathetic thing I think I’ve ever seen. That could very well be the worst trailer I’ve seen in my twenty-three years of life, and that is saying something. I used to have the biggest crush on The Rock. I’ve had it in for this guy since I was twelve, people, and I thought that his film career had a ton of potential. Then, he made a bunch of crappy action movies like Doom and his career went on life support. He became the latest Disney captive and, while his kiddie flicks make money, they aren’t doing him any favors as far as getting roles of any merit. Now, I’m ready to call time of death on his career: January 22, 2010. I can understand wanting to leave wrestling, but dude, didn’t you make enough money with the WWE to just retire? If I were him, I’d rather stay home than have to show my face in public and promote THIS atrocity. Can you imagine having to go on TV and tell people with a straight face that this movie is gonna be awesome?! I’m beyond disappointed. I’m MAD. I’m mad that I’ve spent so much time talking this guy up, going to see his movies, being a fan of this guy, and then he pulls some crap like this. Well, I’m done supporting this crap. I’ll put my cash toward better endeavors, like the U2 concert I’m going to on Saturday, or to putting gas in my car, or maybe even sending some to Oprah’s charity, but not to this, and anyone who can look at that trailer and say that it looks good is a nut. A nut! Dwayne Rock, whatever, stop squandering your natural talent on films that are beneath you. Do a good action movie again, man! The Rundown was good! Make a sequel! Not like Seann William Scott is too busy to sign on!

It physically pains me that Billy Crystal’s first screen appearance in years is in this AND Stephen Merchant’s hollywood debut is this mess!
