Get Included On The PARANORMAL ACTIVITY DVD Release!
The DVD release of Paranormal Activity is fast approaching, with it hitting the UK shelves on the 22nd of March, but did you know there was a way for you to be possibly included on the release?
You see, there is currently a competition being run where people can submit their own “paranormal” short and submit it via the official Youtube page before the closing date of 31st of January 2010.
Once all entries are in they will be judged by Oren Peli, the director of Paranormal Activity, with the ultimate winner having their short inroduced on the DVD release as well as receiving a FLIP Digital Video Camera, 6 Month VIP Membership with LOVEFiLM.com and a copy of the DVD or Blu-Ray. Runners up will also be included as a special feature on the DVD and Blu-Ray!
Pretty snazzy prizes, eh?
Here are the details of what your short would need to contain:
Your film can be in any style you wish, whether it be actual or fictional paranormal activity, or even your own spoof version of the film. At no more than three minutes long, it can be hair-raising, hip and/or hilarious as long its original (i.e. don’t use clips, dialogue or music from any other sources that you haven’t created yourself).
And that’s it! Here are three of the current entries, to whet your appetite:
Normal Activity: Click here
Demon Girl Nightmare: Click here
Conceptual Three Minute Cut: Click here
Think you can do better? Well, get filming and submit your entries here before they close submissions in two weeks time on the 31st of January.
And if you do enter, let us know how you get on!

One Response to “Get Included On The PARANORMAL ACTIVITY DVD Release!”
The only thing that nearly saved this movie was the acting, really couldn’t fault that.
The film itself?
This was the biggest load of cock twaddle I’ve seen in a long time. Boring, unimaginative and just generally shite.
You can obviously see why I don’t review films… although “one sentence film reviews” could be something for the future.
