OFF THE SHELF - Issue # 39: THE “FAREWELL” COMPETITION
To celebrate the completion of Off The Shelf we’ve got a DVD giveaway… of a film that has no love on this very site, or any other site, or by any other critic on the planet that I’m aware of. Sounds like a fair deal doesn’t it? You give me your support - I give you the opportunity to win some shit! Yes, to celebrate the conclusion of Off The Shelf I’m offering you the opportunity to win a copy of Good Luck Chuck on DVD.
The competition is open to anyone – as long as you have a multi-region DVD player for those outside of the UK as the DVD is Region 2. And you can read Kristina’s original (guest) review of the film by clicking here. I suggest you don’t though because one cursory glance of that (and it is a fair and accurate review!) and you’ll find absolutely no reason to enter this competition, regardless of the fact that the shit is ‘free’ shit!
To enter it’s really simple. Write a hundred words or less on which film out of all those covered in all 38 issues of Off The Shelf you hadn’t seen but were inspired to do so and ended up really liking or adding to your own “shelf” as a result. Send all entries (you can enter as many times as you like with as many choices and explanations but all entries must be within separate e-mails) with your name and postal address to undiscovered_genius@hotmail.com with the subject header “Dane Cook Is A Talentless Cocksplash!” before 25th March 2008 and the successful entrant will be notified via e-mail.
Good Luck. Remember, even bad films need a home too! And if all else fails, think of it this way – why should you deny yourself the pleasure of seeing Jessica Alba as naked as we’re ever going to get her. If you’re female and straight and looking for a reason to win a copy of this flick then… er…. Erm… that cool “I Love It When You Call” song by The Feeling is used in it! Sorry, that’s all I’ve got!
