Nowadays, people are more and more concerned with where their food comes from, and this documentary lets us view the world of food production that we don’t often see it has been described as “shocking, fascinating and disturbing”. And with the campainging done in the UK by peope like Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on mass food production techniques it’s bound to strike a cord with people.
And it won the Special Jury Award at the Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival.
What will possibly make this movie even more shocking is the fact that it doesn’t judge. It shows the audience how food is processed, without commentary on the documentary - the only sounds you will hear are part of the actual enviroment of the food production.
