Win Stuff!! LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE Series 15 & 16 DVD Competition
Released today on Region 2 DVD is the 15th & 16th series of the long running BBC comedy, Last of the Summer Wine and to celebrate I have been given a copy of the release to offer to one of you lucky readers.
Starting in 1973, and currently on it’s 30th series, the popular comedy show revolves around the mis-adventures of three ever young old men (the lineup of which has changed many times over the years) in the town of Holmfirth in West Yorkshire and here’s the synopsis for this release:
Bill Owen, Peter Sallis and Brian Wilde are again joined by Kathy Staff and Thora Hird in two surreal and sublime series’ of this much-loved TV gem. Exhaustive and exhausting fitness regimes, an exploding gas cooker, too much home-brew at a funeral tea, living in misery with Nora Batty, bicycle safety underwear, self-hypnosis, seduction by trampoline and the inevitable cast iron bath are just some of the ingredients of these, the latest sips of the summer wine.
